How To Enrol
Step 1
Check Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined because of your permanent residential address.
The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school.

Enrolment Documentation
All student enrolments must be formalised by completing an enrolment form and providing copies of the following documentation:
- Birth Certificate (English translated)
- Immunisation Form from the Australian Immunisation Register
- Proof of Residence e.g. A council rates notice or rental agreement
- Medical Management Plans (Asthma and Anaphylaxis)
- Student Visa*
If You Are Out Of The Zone
Please complete an enrolment form and submit to 5518-Enrolments@schools.vic.edu.au
All enrolment forms must be submitted along with the supporting documentation to the school office or via email. Once we have received these you will be contacted for a pre-admission interview.
2027 Foundation Enrolment
Steps to enrol your child in Prep for the 2027 school year.
Enrolments open Monday 20th April 2026
The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Prep enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Prep at a Victorian government primary school, including Cranbourne East Primary School.
To start primary school in 2027, your child will need to turn 5 years old by 30 April 2027. Schooling is compulsory for children who have turned 6 years old.

This year our school is using a paper-based system to support families to enrol, if you prefer to use an online system for new enrolments VicStudents will be available.
VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time.
VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.
Our school preferred method is paper based enrolments. Please contact the office for an Enrolment form.
What you need to do:
- Use Find my School to locate your designated neighbourhood school (referred to as your local school) and other nearby government schools.
- Contact us to book a school tour to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
- From Monday 20th April 2026, please click on the following link Enrolment Form to download an enrolment form and submit either in person or via 5518-enrolments@school.vic.edu.au. If you prefer the online process please follow the following link to submit your application via VicStudents https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ .You will need to register before you can submit.
- Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application. Please ensure your application has been submitted by Friday 31st July 2026.
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should accept the offer by no later than Friday 28th August 2026 to confirm your child’s placement.
- Take part in information and transition sessions during Term 3 & 4, 2026.
Your child will start Prep from Wednesday 27th January 2027.

The school uniform is available for purchase from Primary School Wear (PSW).

The school adheres to the sunsmart principles, hence all students are required to wear a school approved hat during Term 1 and Term 4 while outside at recess and lunchtimes.
