Compass
At Cranbourne East Primary School, we are committed to keeping parents and students informed of learning progress as it occurs through a secure online portal, known as Compass School Manager.
Compass enables the school to communicate information to parents, post important dates and activities on the Calendar, book parent-teacher interviews and most importantly, provide rich, ongoing information about student progress. Parents and students are able to access this information from home 24 hours-7 days a week.
Rather than issuing two hard-copy paper reports each year, teachers provide mid-term and end-term Progress Report via Compass to help parents track their child’s learning progress. Semester Reports are provided online in June and December detailing student grade ratings, work effort & behaviour and progress in Specialist areas.
As always, regular communication between teachers and parents continues to be encouraged through either face-to-face interactions, phone calls or appointments at any time throughout the school year.

Canteen
The school canteen is operated by an outsourced company, Bocca Foods. The canteen operates every day at recess and lunchtime.
BOCCA Foods Contact – canteen order cancellations & queries
For same day lunch order cancellations, parents need to contact BOCCA by 10am.
Any of these three methods can be used to contact BOCCA Foods:
- Reply to the email receipt sent to you for your order
- Through the “Contacts” section on their website www.boccafoods.com.au
- Email support@boccafoods.com.au with your child’s name, school and order number (if possible)
For urgent cancellations, BOCCA will action immediately and contact you to confirm as soon as possible. For all other enquiries, BOCCA will respond in a timely manner.
There is NO OPTION for lunch orders to be given direct to the canteen.
Lunch orders are collected by 1:15pm for the start of eating time.
The school has a designated outdoor eating area under the shade sail opposite the music studio for students to enjoy snacks purchased during the breaks.
Rubbish bins are located around the school grounds for the depositing of food wrappers.

The school uniform is available for purchase from Primary School Wear (PSW).

The school adheres to the sunsmart principles, hence all students are required to wear a school approved hat during Term 1 and Term 4 while outside at recess and lunchtimes.
